In his Eid Al-Fitr message, the former President of Nigeria said: “Congratulations to the Muslim Ummah on the successful completion of this year’s Ramadan. May the supplication you have offered in the course of this period be acceptable to Allah and may you be enriched by the lessons of Ramadan.
“As citizens, we shall all continue to pray for the peace and unity of our country, Nigeria and demonstrate,love, tolerance and peace towards one another.”
