Sudan Unrest: ‘FG to move Nigerians to Cairo, Egypt’ – Ahmad

Bashir Ahmad, Special Assistant on Digital Communication to President Muhammadu Buhari, has released some information about Nigerians in Sudan.

Sudan is currently experiencing heavy unrest which is more serious in the capital city, Khartoum.

The Army of Sudan are fighting against the paramilitary force – this has resulted to the death of hundreds, several others left with various degrees of injury.

Ahmad disclosed, “Nigerians, mostly students in Sudan, are about to be moved to Cairo, Egypt”, adding, “the Federal Government has completed preparations for their evacuation”.

According to Ahmad: “Nigerians, mostly students in Sudan, are about to be moved to Cairo, Egypt, as the Federal Government has completed preparations for their evacuation. Adequate information will be provided by the Nigerian Embassy in Khartoum.”
