Workers’ Day: ‘Since taking office, we have placed the working conditions of over 50,000 civil servants our top priority’ – Governor Okowa

Governor of Delta State, Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, has sent greetings to all civil servants in the South-South State on Workers’ Day.

He said, “since taking office, we have placed the working conditions of the over 50,000 civil servants in our state as our top priority.”

Also, he went ahead to “express sincere gratitude to each and every one of you for your invaluable contribution to our work over the past 8 years”.

Governor Okowa said: “Since taking office, we have placed the working conditions and skill development of the over 50,000 civil servants in our state as our top priority. Our commitment to investing in appropriate working conditions and upskilling our workforce has remained unwavering over the years. 


“Today, on #WorkersDay, we commemorate the contribution of all our state workers who have tirelessly dedicated themselves to building a #StrongerDelta.


“I express my sincere gratitude to each and every one of you for your invaluable contribution to our work over the past 8 years. As you engage in your various spheres of work, I pray that you continue to find the strength and passion to create positive impacts.”
