Belgian midfield maestro, Kevin de Bruyne, has clinched the Uefa Player Of The Match Award after the Uefa Champions League 2022/23 semi final first leg between Real Madrid and Manchester City at the Santiago Bernabeu, Spain on Tuesday 9 May, 2023.
The Man City midfielder levelled for the Citizens in the 67th minute to strike out Vinicius Junior’s opener for Real Madrid in the 36th minute.
De Bruyne’s goal earned Manchester City a draw in the encounter as they head into the second leg next week Wednesday at the Etihad Stadium, England.
The Award is officially handed after every Uefa Champions League 2022/23 match with the aim to recognize the top performers in Europe’s premier club competition.
