Aston Villa will face Leicester City in the Premier League match on Saturday 4 January, 2025 at Villa Park at 16:00 (WAT).
Jhon Duran is serving a three-match ban after Villa’s appeal was dismissed.
At his press conference ahead of the top flight encounter on Saturday evening, Emery provided a team news update; the Spanish manager said, Pau Torres will be missing in action for weeks after breaking his metatarsal.
According to avfc.co.uk, Emery said: “Not (available is) Jhon Durán because he is suspended, not Pau Torres because he broke his fourth metatarsal and he is going to be out for, more or less, two months,” said the Spaniard.
“Not for tomorrow Diego Carlos because he has small injury as well, he’s not feeling good with one kick he has in his foot.
“Not Morgan Rogers because he is suspended with five yellow cards.
“Other players are in the squad and available for tomorrow.”
