Leicester City manager, Ruud Van Nistelrooy, has confirmed Jordan Ayew and Wout Faes could return to the squad this weekend for the Premier League clash against Aston Villa.
Aston Villa will welcome Leicester City at Villa Park for the top flight match on Saturday 4 January, 2025 at 16:00 (WAT).
The Foxes will lock horns with a strong opponent who are currently chasing a spot in European competitions next season.
At his press conference, Nistelrooy provided a positive update on his squad, announcing both Ayew and Faes could be available for selection on Saturday.
The Dutchman said: “We’re looking to have Jordan Ayew back following suspension, which will help us.
“Wout Faes has been training individually but joins back up with the squad today so we’re hoping to have him as an option again soon.”
