Arsenal who went in front through youngster, Ethan Nwaneri, in the 16th minute, were unable to hold their lead as Brighton levelled through Joao Pedro in the 61st minute from the penalty spot.
The result means Arsenal’s unbeaten league run stretches to 10 matches.
