Niger Republic: ‘Spoke to President Tinubu to restore constitutional order in Niger’ – Blinken

United States Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, has disclosed, he “Spoke to Nigerian President Tinubu to restore constitutional order in Niger”.

There has so much pressure and instability in Niger Republic since coup plotters successfully ousted democratically elected President of the West African country, Mohamed Bazoum in July.

The US Secretary of State also “commended President Tinubu on his leadership of the Economic Community of West African States.”

Blinken disclosed: “Spoke to Nigerian President Tinubu to commend his leadership of the Economic Community of West African States and discussed shared efforts to restore constitutional order in Niger.”
