Conversation ⬇ Lagos State Police Command Public Relations Officer (PRO), SP Benjamin Hundeyin, has responded to a Twitterer who said, “Go to a Police Station, Give DPO money & pay for fuel.
“Boom..they will follow you to arrest anybody without investigation.”

SP Hundeyin quoted the tweet and commented: “Go to a Police Station.
“Give DPO money.
“Pay for fuel.
“Follow you to arrest/invite anyone based on the information you gave that he/she committed an offence/crime.
“Turns out you gave false information, you would be prosecuted for giving false information.”
This is all in response to a story titled “Woman arraigned for supplying police false information” by Punch.
