German side, Bayern Munich will play against English side, Manchester United, in the Uefa Champions League at Allianz Arena on Wednesday 20 September, 2023.
Head Coach of Bayern Munich, Thomas Tuchel, confessed, Manchester United “are fantastic from counter-attacks with Bruno Fernandes, Marcus Rashford and now Rasmus Højlund up front”.
In his press conference ahead of the match against Erik Ten Hag’s side, Tuchel said: “Their recent results don’t reveal too much about them. They are fantastic from counter-attacks with Bruno Fernandes, Marcus Rashford and now Rasmus Højlund up front. We can never afford to switch off, United are always dangerous. They have lots of individual quality.”

On his squad for the encounter, Tuchel said: “It’s better for everyone if clear decisions are made, but there are still tough decisions to make. We’ve now got a full-on schedule up until the winter break. We need everyone in the squad to have a fantastic mentality, with everybody giving their all to play. We have lots of options from the bench, which is what we need.
“Jamal Musiala is ready to start. He can play between 60 and 75 minutes, but we haven’t decided if he will start yet. He could even play together with Thomas Müller.”
