Bayern Munich will welcome Manchester United in the Uefa Champions League 2023/24 match at Allianz Arena on Wednesday 20 September, 2023.
Harry Kane’s pre-match press conference:
On his first few weeks in Munich: “It’s been a good start for me here. I’ve scored four goals so far, which I’m satisfied with. However, there is still a lot of room for improvement.”
On the match between Bayern Munich and Manchester United: “United are going through a tough period and we’re expecting a reaction from them. We want to control the game at our home ground, but have to be wary of their strengths. We have to make sure we create enough chance.
“We’re playing at home in front of our fans and we want to show what we’re capable of. United are good on the break and have quick players, but we want to dominate the game.
“I’m treating all three competitions the same, but the #UCL is the biggest competition in the world. A final at Wembley would be something special, it’s where my country play after all. I’m not thinking about that yet though.
“A team like Bayern, that have won each of the last 11 league titles, is in a good position to have more success. Our biggest goal is to continue doing well in the league and to get back to winning cups too. I want to contribute towards this.”
