The Officers “ASP Tunmise Adedire, Inspr Dauda Nuhu, and Inspr Isaac Omoniwa of the Oyo State Police Command’s Swift Respond Squad, under the watch of CSP Femi Okunowo” refused to “take ₦3,000 as a token of appreciation” from the “Nigerian” as disclosed by an X user (@chimaobi_nteoma).

According to NPF: “We’re immensely proud of the dedication and selflessness displayed by our officers, ASP Tunmise Adedire, Inspr Dauda Nuhu, and Inspr Isaac Omoniwa of the Oyo State Police Command’s Swift Respond Squad, under the watch of CSP Femi Okunowo. Their actions show the spirit of service and duty that runs deep within the Nigeria Police Force.

“This story brings to fore, the positive impact our officers make in our community. While they are among the many who go above and beyond to serve the people, it’s crucial to acknowledge their dedication. Just as we don’t hesitate to reprove them when they’re wrong, we should also give them their flowers when they make us proud.

“We hope that by this very Nigerians are inspired to be more kind and to lend a helping hand whenever we can.”
