United States (US) President, Joe Biden, has come out to say that, “the ties between Israel and the United States run deep”.

His statement is coming following the surprise attack launched against Israel by Palestinian militants known as Hamas which has resulted to the death of several Israeli citizens, and many others taken hostage.
Israel has carried out retaliatory actions against Hamas, targeting Gaza City – the airstrikes from Israel has killed more than nine hundred (900) Palestinians, as disclosed by the Heal Ministry of Gaza City.
President Biden said: “This is not some distant tragedy – the ties between Israel and the United States run deep.
“It is personal for so many American families who are feeling the pain of this attack as well as the scars inflicted through millennia of antisemitism and persecution of Jewish people.
“In cities across the country, local and federal law enforcement partners are closely monitoring for any domestic threats in connection with the horrific terrorist attacks in Israel.”
