According to camp Update by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Super Eagles strikers, Victor Osimhen and Kelechi Iheanacho are “out of camp”.

As disclosed by the NFF: “Osimhen – pre-cautionary measure on advice of the medical team.
“Iheanacho – attending to pressing personal issues.”
Nigeria has been drawn in Group A of the Africa Cup Of Nations (AFCON) 2023alongside hosts, Ivory Coast, Equatorial Guinea and Guinea-Bissau.
The AFCON 2023 will kick off on 13 January and end 11 February, 2024.
