The Spanish manager also disclosed, he is not certain when the Belgian midfield maestro will return to action for the English Kings.

On injury update, in a press conference ahead of the Premier League 2023/24 match between Manchester City and Brighton, Guardiola said: “All good. No problems. Except Kevin [De Bruyne]… I don’t know [when he will be back].”
On the topflight encounter agaisnt Brighton, Gardiola said: “We don’t play similarly. They [Brighton] are unique in how they play. But we have some patterns, we are aggressive without the ball, high pressing, we want the ball like they do but the way they play is unique.”
On Norwegian striker, Erling Braut Haaland, winning Ballon d’Or, Guardiola said: “[Erling] Haaland should win, yes. We won the treble and he scored 50 goals but of course, Messi, the worst season of Messi is the best of the rest. They both deserve it. I would say I want Erling because he helped us achieve what we have, I would love it but they [Argentina] won the World Cup.”
