CAF said, all four teams in the semi finals of the 2023 Africa Cup Of Nations (AFCON) are “hungry to bring the trophy back home”.

The four semi finalist are; Nigeria, Ivory Coast (host), DR Congo and South Africa.
Nigeria has clinched the trophy thrice (1980, 1994, 2013), while Ivory Coast, DR Congo and South Africa, twice (1992, 2015), twice (1968, 1974) and once (1996) respectively.
According to CAF: “The 4 of them are equally hungry to bring the trophy back home.
“Who is going to add a new one in history books?”
In the semi finals, Nigeria will face South Africa, while Ivory Coast will play against DR Congo.
