AFCON 2023: Nigeria V South Africa – ‘Best of luck, let’s get it done’ – Okonjo-Iweala

Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Director-General of the World Trade Organisation (WTO), has sent her goodluck message to the Super Eagles of Nigeria ahead of their clash against South Africa.

Nigeria will face South Africa in the 2023 CAF Africa Cup Of Nations (AFCON) semi final match at Stade Bouaké on Wednesday 7 February, 2024 at 18:00 (WAT).

The DG WTO wrote: “Wishing our very own Super Eagles the best of luck tomorrow!! Let’s get it done.”

Striker Victor Osimhen who was earlier confirmed to have “abdominal discomfort”, and was unable to travel with the team from Abidjan to Bouaké, has been “declared fit and available for selection in the clash against South Africa on Wednesday”.
