Vice President of the United States (US), Kamala Harris, has described Russian opposition leader, Alexei Navalny, as a “brave leader”.

This is coming following the death of Navalny, a Russian opposition leader.
Navalny died in the Arctic Prison colony where he was serving a 19-year sentence.
According to Kremlin, President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, has been informed of the death of Navalny.
In her reaction to Navalny’s death, US VP Harris said: “Aleksey Navalny has been a brave leader who stood up against corruption and autocracy – and who stood up for the truth.
“The reports of his death are further proof of Putin’s brutality and remind us of why our support for Ukraine is so important.”
