EFL Cup 2023/24: Chelsea 0-1 Liverpool – Photos of Reds victory

Liverpool has now won the trophy a record ten times following a lone goal triumph over Chelsea in the final of the EFL Cup 2023/24 on Sunday 25 February, 2024 at Wembley.

Virgil Van Dijk netted the only goal of the encounter for Jurgen Klopp’s side in the 118th minute via a header.

The Dutchman’s first header in the second half was ruled out by VAR.

Liverpool has won the EFL Cup ten (10) times: 1981, 1982, 1983, 1984, 1995, 2001, 2003, 2012, 2022, 2024…

Mauricio Pochettino’s Chelsea also had a goal from Raheem Sterling cancelled for offside.
