United States (US) Vice President, Kamala Harris, has come out to call some “so-called leaders in states” hypocrites because they “say that an abortion ban is in the best interest of women and children, yet they stay silent on maternal mortality”.

US VP Kamala Harris said: “I have often challenged the so-called leaders in states who say that an abortion ban is in the best interest of women and children, yet they stay silent on maternal mortality.
“The hypocrisy abounds.”
