Croatian professional football manager and former player, Igor Tudor, has been appointed as new manager of Italian Serie A football outfit, SS Lazio.

Manager, Maurizio Sarrin, was sacked following Lazio’s exit from the Uefa Champions League 2023/24 following a 3-0 defeat in the hands of German Bundesliga Kings, Bayern Munich, in the second leg of the round of 16 at Allianz Arena on Tuesday 5 March, 2024.
SS Lazio wrote: “Official.
“Igor Tudor, new S.S. Lazio coach.
“Good luck, gaffer!”
During his playing days, Tudor won the Serie A twice (2001/02 and 2002/03), and emerged runner-up at the UEFA Champions League 2002/03 with Juventus.
He helped Croatia win third place at the FIFA World Cup 1998, and clinched Croatia Footballer Of The Year 2001.
