Israel V Hamas: ‘I am committed to returning all our abductees’ – PM Netanyahu

Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, has said, he is “committed to returning all our abductees” from their Hamas abductors.

He further said, Israeli “men and women” in the captivity of the Palestinian militants, known as, Hamas, will be returned home, assuring, “I won’t leave anyone behind”.

The fighting between Israel and Hamas started in the early hours of Saturday 7 October, 2023 after Hamas launched a surprise attack on the Southern region of Israel, killing several Israelis and taking many other hostage.

Israel has not stopped its retaliatory military actions on Gaza, making several moves encompassing, aerial bombardment of the Strip, siege on the city of Gaza which prevented food, medicine, clean water and other necessities, as well as other actions.

More than 30,000 have lost their lives and above 70,000 have been wounded in Gaza since the fighting began.

PM Netanyahu said: “I am committed to returning all our abductees – the women and men, the civilians and the soldiers, the lives and the spaces.


“I won’t leave anyone behind.”

The Israeli PM is to undergo a surgery for hernia which was discovered during routine checkup.
