He said, “we started well”, confessing, “I enjoyed the game”.
Cole Palmer netted his first hat-trick for Chelsea in the encounter against Erik Ten Hag’s United.
In his post-match comments, Pochettino said: “Of course I enjoyed it.
“It was amazing because I was thinking we deserved it, we were the better team today. It was fair when we scored in the last minute.
“We started the game really well and at 2-0 for us the game was under control. Then we made a mistake and we suffered a big emotional impact. It wasn’t easy to deal with this.
“In the second half again we controlled the game and we conceded in transition. Of course the way we conceded the three goals was disappointing because I think we should be better in these types of situations. But if you analyse the game I think it was a fair result, three points for us.
“And to finish in the way that we finished, for the connection between our players and fans, it was a very good thing that happened for us tonight and it should be a turning point for the team and the fans to have trust in each other.”
HC: Kudos to Cole Palmer. Always “Calm and Composed”.
