Manchester United defeated bottom club, Sheffield United, 4-2 in the Premier League 2023/24 match on Wednesday 24 April, 2024 at Old Trafford.

The visitors took the lead when United goalkeeper Andre Onana’s attempted pass across his own box to defender, Diogo Dalot, was intercepted by Jayden Bogle who scored the opener in the 35th minute.
In the 42nd minute, Harry Maguire headed in Alejandro Garnacho’s low cross to level, but, Ben Brereton Diaz placed Sheffield United back in front again in the 50th minute, but, Bruno Fernandes equalized for the hosts from the penalty spot in the 61st minute.
Fernandes added the third for Erik Ten Hag’s side in the 81st minute, and Rasmus Hojlund netted the fourth in the 85th minute to hand United all three points at home.
With this result, Manchester United are sixth on the table with 53 points, while Sheffield United remain at the bottom with 16 points.
