In the second leg of the Uefa Champions League 2023/24 semi final, Real Madrid discomfited Bayern Munich 2-1 at Santiago Bernabeu on Wednesday 8 May, 2024; progressing with a 4-3 aggregate after both sides shared points following a 2-2 outcome in the first leg of the tie at Allianz Arena in Germany.
Thomas Tuchel’s side were in the front when Alphonso Davies netted in the 68th minute, however, the hosts fought back and levelled in the 88th minute through Joselu and went ahead to take the lead in the 1st minute of additional time through the Spanish striker.
It’s a sad season for English forward, Harry Kane, as his hopes of clinching a first major title in his career ends.
Real Madrid will slug it out with Borussia Dortmund in the final of the UCL 2023/24 at Wembley Stadium, England on Saturday 1 June, 2024.
