The US VP said, “as the Attorney General of California and a United States Senator, I stood up for students and fought to ease the burden of student loan debt”.
According to VP Harris: “With today’s announcement, President Biden and I have now canceled student loan debt for over 5 million Americans.
As the Attorney General of California and a United States Senator, I stood up for students and fought to ease the burden of student loan debt. I have been proud to continue that work to create economic opportunity as Vice President of the United States.”
