2023 Gubernatorial candidate of the Labour Party (LP) for Lagos State, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, has come out to blast the Lagos State Government for being “lukewarm towards supporting citizens”, however, “passionate about demolitions”.

His statement is coming following the heavy downpour that happened in Lagos few days back which resulted to flooding in most parts of the state.
Rhodes-Vivour said: “I am fine, but Lagos isn’t. We can’t have a government that is passionate about demolitions but lukewarm towards supporting citizens. They are on ground when it’s time to demolish but tweet when your houses and cars are destroyed by floods.”
