Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, President General of Ohaneze Ndigbo, died on Thursday 25 July, 2024 following a brief illness, as disclosed via a statement by his son, Jide Iwuanyanwu.
Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, representing Anambra South District, died on Saturday 27 July, 2024 in London.
The former Kano State Governor said, “The loss of the two distinguished philanthropic giants have left the country with a void that would be very difficult to fill.”
Kwakwanso wrote: “I wish to extend my deepest condolences to the families of Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu and Senator Ifeanyi Ubah.
The loss of the two distinguished industrial and philanthropic giants have left the country with a void that would be very difficult to fill.
I, once again express my condolences to the Ohanaeze Ndigbo, and the Nigerian people. May the Almighty grant them peace.”
