| Kwara State Governor, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, lead Nigeria Governor’s Forum (NGF) to Maiduguri to commiserate with the people and government of Borno State over the recent devastating flood |
“The Nigerian Governors’ Forum (NGF), led by its Chairman, Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq CON, arrived in Maiduguri earlier today to commiserate with Borno State Governor Babagana Umara Zulum CON and the people of the State over the recent devastating flood.
“Arriving in the State, His Excellency Governor AbdulRazaq and four other governors paid a courtesy call on Governor Zulum at the Council Chamber of the Government House in Maiduguri,
“where they expressed their sympathy to the governor and the good people of Borno for the havoc wreaked by the flooding.
They also beseeched the Almighty God to forgive the lost lives while also asking God to give their families the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
“Giving the reasons for the visit, Governor AbdulRazaq said the visit was to assure support for the Borno State government and convey their message to the federal government for more support to cushion the suffering of the victims.”
