Goals from Riccardo Calafiori and Gabriel Magalhaes in the 22nd minute and 45+1′ respectively struck out Erling Braut Haaland’s 9th minute goal.
Mikel Arteta’s side had forward, Leandro Trossard, red-carded for a second bookable offence in the 8th minute of first half additional time.
10-man Gunners held on until the 8th minute of stoppage time when Stones levelled to help Pep Guardiola’s side salvage one point at home.
