Patience Eno Passes: ‘She was dedicated to humanitarian causes’ – Bukola Saraki

13th President of the Nigerian Senate, Bukola Saraki, has extended his “heartfelt condolences” to His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, following the passing of his wife, Mrs. Patience Umo Eno.

Saraki said, “her death has left a void not only in Akwa Ibom but across Nigeria”, adding, she was “dedicated to humanitarian causes”.

Mrs. Patience Umo Eno died “following an illness” on Thursday 26 September, 2024, as made known by the Government of Akwa Ibom.

Saraki wrote: “I was devastated to receive the sad news of the passing of Her Excellency, Pastor Mrs. Patience Umo Eno, the beloved First Lady of Akwa Ibom State. Her death has left a void not only in Akwa Ibom but across Nigeria, where she was revered for her grace and dedication to humanitarian causes.


In this time of grief, my family and I extend our heartfelt condolences to His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno @_PastorUmoEno, the entire first family, and the people of Akwa Ibom State. We pray for strength, healing, and solace for all who are mourning her passing.  


She will be dearly missed.”
