He made the statement on Nigeria’s 64th Independence Anniversary, Tuesday 1 October, 2024.
The Governor admitted, “truly, the journey has not been easy”, however, “our resilience, patriotism, and unwavering commitment have kept us on the path to greatness”.
Governor Uzodimma wrote: “Fellow citizens of Imo State and Nigerians at large, as we celebrate the 64th anniversary of our great nation’s independence, I am filled with immense pride in the progress we have made. Despite the prevailing challenges, we have continued to build on the gains of independence, with each of us contributing to the growth of our beloved country.
I commend every son and daughter of Imo State and Nigeria at large for our selfless efforts. Your dedication is the foundation upon which we are building a stronger, more prosperous nation. I encourage each of us to continue contributing, as every effort counts in our mission to reposition and transform Nigeria for future generations.
Truly, this journey has not been easy, but our resilience, patriotism, and unwavering commitment have kept us on the path to greatness. Let us, once again, renew these spirits, supporting the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as we forge ahead.
