Rosh Hashanah: ‘A new year of total victory’ – PM Netanyahu

Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, has sent new year greetings to the people of Israel.

The Israeli PM wrote: “a new year of victory.”

Rosh Hashanah , the Jewish new year, is a fall holiday, taking place at the beginning of the month of Tishrei , which is actually the seventh month of the Jewish year (counting from Nisan in the spring). It is both a time of rejoicing and of serious introspection, a time to celebrate the completion of another year while also taking stock of one’s life.

It will run from Wednesday 2 October, 2024 – Friday 4 October, 2024.

PM Netanyahu wrote: “It will be a year of total victory.

Happy New Year to the people of Israel.”
