Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has said, the Cityzens need the support of fans “to take the result” against Chelsea on Saturday evening.

The English Champions will welcome Chelsea in the Premier League match on Saturday 25 January, 2025 at Etihad Stadium at 18:30 (WAT).
Guardiola will head into the top flight match after a 4-2 loss to French Ligue 1 Kings, Paris Saint-Germaine (PSG) in the Uefa Champions League 2024/25 League Phase match on Wednesday 22 January, 2025.
At his press conference ahead of the match against Enzo Maresca’s Blues, Guardiola said:
On Injury Update…
“Same injuries, we had Ruben [Dias] and [Jeremy] Doku is out. The other players out [still] are out.”
On Omar Marmoush…
“[He adds an] exceptional quality to the team… a future player for years with quality in the final third. That’s why [the Club signed him].”
On Vitor Reis…
“Vitor [Reis] is young, has a huge personality but needs time. [Abdukodir] Khusanov is already settled, playing in the French league against tough, fast players. Omar [Marmoush] was in the training session and I think he’ll adapt quickly.”
On support from fans…
“This week is really important and the next two games. We need our people, they will support us to do the performance to take the result.”
