AFCON 2025 Qualification: Libya V Nigeria – ‘Been at the airport for almost 13 hours no food no wifi’ – Boniface

Super Eagles of Nigeria are obviously stranded at the airport in Libya following “disgraceful behaviour” from the Libyan Government.

This is happening ahead of the Africa Cup Of Nations (AFCON) 2025 qualifier between Libya and Nigeria on Tuesday 15 October, 2024in Benghazi.

Bayer Leverkusen striker, Victor Boniface, cried, “been at the airport for about 13 hours no food no wifi.”

Captain of Nigeria, William Troost-Ekong, on behalf of himself and the entire team, has decided “we will not play this game.”

In the first leg of the tie, Nigeria emerged victorious by a lone goal against Libya at Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State on Friday 11 October, 2024.

Boniface wrote: “Been at the airport for almost 13 hours no food no wifi no where to sleep
