National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has deployed mobile water purifier to communities affected by flood in Kogi State.

The move is to help provide clean water to the affected communities.
According to NEMA: “Kogi State Government has appreciated the prompt response of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) to the flood situation in the state.
The State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo appreciated the Agency during the visit of the Director General Mrs Zubaida Umar today to Lokoja.
The NEMA boss, while commending the State Government for establishing emergency shelters around Lokoja and other flood proned locations to accommodate displaced persons, noted that the NEMA had deployed it’s mobile water purifiers to ensure the availability of clean drinking water for the displaced persons.
The NEMA team visited some camps where some of the Internally Displaced Persons are taking temporary shelter.
