United States (US) President, Donald Trump, has threatened, “a whole civilization will die tonight” if Iran refuses to reopen the Strait of Hormuz.
Trump has warned, Tuesday will be “power plant day and bridge day” if the Iranians fail to make a deal or reopen the Strait of Hormuz.
However, the US President added, since a “complete and total regime change” has been achieved, then, “maybe something revolutionarily wonderful can happen tonight”.
The Americans have conducted fresh strikes on military targets on Kharg Island, Iran’s key oil export terminal.
JD Vance, Vice President of the United States (US), making his comments in Budapest, said, America has “tools in our toolkit that we so far haven’t decided to use” against Iran but adds the US has “fundamentally” completed its military objectives in the country.
President Trump posted on Truth Social: “A whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again. I don’t want that to happen, but it probably will.
“However, now that we have Complete and Total Regime Change, where different, smarter, and less radicalized minds prevail, maybe something revolutionarily wonderful can happen, WHO KNOWS?
“We will find out tonight, one of the most important moments in the long and complex history of the World.”
As the deadline set by Trump looms, White House Press Secretary, karoline Leavitt, said, only the US Leader “knows where things stand and what he will do”.
Responding to Trump’s threat of bombing Iran’s Electric Power Plants and Bridges, Masoud Pezeshkian, President of Iran, said, “14 million” Iranians have made up their minds to “sacrifice their lives” for the protection of Iran, including himself.
In his response on X, President Pezeshkian said: “More than 14 million proud Iranians have so far registered to sacrifice their lives to defend Iran. I too have been, am, and will remain devoted to giving my life for Iran.”
