Trump announces downed American airman rescued

Donald Trump, United States (US) President, has made known, American soldier who went missing in Iran after his F-15E jet was shot down has been rescued following what those who observed called a dramatic firefight between Iranian and US rescue forces.

Forces of America and Iran moved to locate the airman for two (2) days with Iran calling on the public to hand over the soldier to authorities in what appeared to be moves to capture an American prisoner of war as the fighting entered its 37th day.

The “seriously injured” F-15 crew officer was rescued from “deep inside the mountains of Iran”, the US President disclosed on Truth Social.

Trump described the rescue of the US airman as an “amazing show of bravery and talent”.

The scenario would have meant an enormous victory for the Iranians in the midst of the strikes on their territory, while, delivering a stunning loss to the Americans, according to analysts.

President Trump posted: “We have rescued the seriously wounded, and really brave, F-15 Crew Member/Officer, from deep inside the mountains of Iran.

“The Iranian Military was looking hard, in big numbers, and getting close.

“This type of raid is seldom attempted because of the danger to “man and equipment.”

“The second raid came after the first one, where we rescued the pilot in broad daylight, also unusual, spending seven hours over Iran. An AMAZING show of bravery and talent by all!”

Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, extended his congratulations to President Trump following the rescue of the US airman.

Via X, the Israeli PM described the move as a “perfectly executed American mission”, and said, the American President thanked him for “Israel’s help”.

PM Netanyahu wrote: “I spoke earlier with President @realDonaldTrump and personally congratulated him on his bold decision and a perfectly executed American mission to rescue the downed pilot from enemy territory.

“The President expressed his appreciation for Israel’s help.

“I am deeply proud that our cooperation on an off the battlefield is unprecedented, and that Israel could contribute to saving a brave American warrior.”
