“If there wasn’t this global alliance of mostly English-speaking nations based on common law principles, there would be a need to create one”, the President added.
He made the statement as the Commonwealth Heads Of Government Meeting 2024 (CHOGM 2024) takes place Island of Apia, Samoa from 21-26 October, 2024.
President Tinubu is being represented at the Meeting by Vice President, Kashim Shettima, alongside a delegation.
