According to Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC): “At the ongoing Two-Day Interactive Workshop for Broadcast Media Anchors in Lagos, Ag. Director of ICT, Engr. Lawrence Bayode, presented on “Application of Technology in Election: The INEC Experience.” He highlighted the success of BVAS and IReV in enhancing election transparency and credibility, effectively reducing voter fraud and impersonation. With strategic improvements, he noted, BVAS and IReV could further transform future elections, boosting transparency, fairness, and public confidence in Nigeria’s democratic process.”
