Five (5) Israeli fighters from the 89th Battalion in the “Hazaken” Brigade have been killed in Southern Lebanon.

They were killed in the fighting against Hezbollah in Lebanon.
Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, alongside his wife, Sara, have sent their “heartfelt condolences” to their families and “prayed for peace for the injured”.
The fighting between Israel and Hezbollah continues to heighten with the Israeli PM earlier announcing the killing of four (4) soldiers in the same Southern Lebanon.
According to PM Netanyahu: “The entire nation mourns the death of five of our fighters from the 89th Battalion in the “Hazaken” Brigade, who fell tonight in South Lebanon:
Major (res.) Dan Maori, late,
Capt. (Res.) Alon Safrai, the late
Sergeant-at-arms (res.) Omri Lotan, the late
Sergeant Major (res.) Guy Idan
and Sergeant Major (res.) Tom Segal.
My wife Sara and I send our heartfelt condolences to their families, and pray for the peace of the injured.
