Iran V Israel: Iran Mission to UN, NY statement after Israel’s ‘warplanes attacked several Iranian military and radar sites from Iraqi airspace’

Permanent Mission of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the United Nations, New York, has made a statement after Israeli “warplanes attacked several Iranian military and radar sites from Iraqi airspace”.

Israel launched its attack against Iran on Friday 25 October, 2024 hitting “several Iranian military and radar sites from Iraqi airspace”.

The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) said, Israel’s attack was in response to Iran’s attack at Israel on the first day of October, 2024.

On Tuesday 1 October, 2024, Iran launched “200 ballistic missiles of various types at Israel” which hit “central and southern Israel”, as confirmed by Daniel Hagari, Spox of IDF.

In its statement, following Israel’s attack, Iran Mission to UN, NY said:

1. The Zionist regime’s warplanes attacked several Iranian military and radar sites from Iraqi airspace, approximately 70 miles from Iran’s border.

2. Iraqi airspace is under the occupation, command and control of the U.S. military.

Conclusion: The U.S. complicity in this crime is certain.
