Former Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, has sent “special birthday wishes” to former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, on the 79th birthday anniversary of the “elder statesman”.
Taking to X, the 2023 Presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) prayed Waziri Adamawa “continued success, prosperity”, as well as, “unending stream of accolades”.
Atiku Abubakar was born on 25 November, 1946 in Jada, Adamawa State, Nigeria, formerly called Jada, British Cameroon.
In his message titled ‘Special Birthday Wishes to an Elder Statesman’, Obi wrote: “My very dear elder brother, boss, and elder statesman, Your Excellency Atiku Abubakar, GCON, Nigeria’s Vice President (1999 – 2007) and the Waziri Adamawa, I join your numerous admirers in wishing you the very best on your 79th birthday anniversary.
“May your special day be filled with grandeur befitting your illustrious career. I wish you continued success, prosperity, and an unending stream of accolades.
“It takes a remarkable kind of fortitude to remain active in public life well into one’s golden years. Your dedication and patriotism remain truly exceptional.
