Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, met with American championship boxer, Floyd Mayweather, and expressed his gratitude to the boxer for his “continuous support for the State of Israel”.

This is the third time Mayweather is visiting Israel since October 7; he made out time to meet with “wounded soldiers, widows and orphans of the October 7 atrocities”.
Israel’s fighting with Palestinian militants, known as, Hamas, started after Hamas struck Israel by surprise in the early hours of Saturday 7 October, 2024, killing more than 1,000 Israelis and taking many others hostage.

The Prime Minister expressed his appreciation for Mayweather’s continuous support for the State of Israel and the Jewish people.
“During his trip to Israel, the legendary boxer met with wounded soldiers, widows and orphans of the October 7 atrocities, as well as with emergency healthcare workers.”
