Israel’s Minister of Defence, Yoav Gallant, has sternly stated that, “a Palestinian state will never be established”.
Gallant’s strong statement is coming after Prime Minister of the United Kingdom (UK), Keir Starmer, announced on Sunday, the UK “formally recognises the State of Palestine”.
Starmer said, the best way to end the fighting in the region is a “two state solution”.
UK PM Starmer posted: “Today, to revive the hope of peace for the Palestinians and Israelis, and a two state solution, the United Kingdom formally recognises the State of Palestine.”
In his strong response, Gallant said: “A Palestinian state will never be established.
“The British Mandate ended 77 years ago – the English oppressive rule of that time is well remembered and will no longer dictate anything to the State of Israel.
“Starmer, you would do well to focus your efforts on curbing the Islamic wave conquering the British Isles before you deal with the State of Israel.”
