Ademola Adeleke, Executive Governor of Osun State, has said, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) is “stronger and more united” in the Southwestern State.
Adeleke made the statement after the successful conduct of ward congresses on Saturday.
The Governor said, the successful conduct of the ward congresses shows the “further restructuring and expansion” of the ‘Umbrella’ Party in Osun State.
Adeleke added, the PDP is still committed to ensuring hood governance is delivered to the people of Osun State, as well as, putting first development for the State “now and beyond 2026”.

“Yesterday, we further the restructuring and expansion of our great party, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), across Osun State, with the successful conduct of ward congresses. The peaceful atmosphere across all political wards is proof that PDP is the true party of the people. Our party is stronger, more united, and more entrenched than ever.
“In recent times, I made several unscheduled visits across communities and confirmed the deep love of our people for our government and party, PDP. All critical sectors of Osun society have declared support for our party and our administration.
“I congratulate the PDP leadership, stakeholders, members and supporters for their hard work in consolidating our winning strength. Together, we remain committed to delivering good governance and prioritizing development for Osun people now and beyond 2026.”
