Real Madrid emerged victorious over Olympique Marseille, winning 2-1, in the Uefa Champions League 2025/26 League Phase match at Santiago Bernabeu on Tuesday 16 September, 2025.
The game was hosted in Madrid, Spain, where French forward, Kylian Mbappe, netted two times for the Los Blancos, who were reduced to 10 men in the second 45 minutes when Dani Carvajal was shown a straight red card.

French Ligue 1 side, Marseille, had gone in front through Timothy Weah in the 22nd minute, utilizing former Manchester United player, Mason Greenwood’s assist, before Mbappe levelled from the penalty spot in the 29th minute.
Xabi Alonso’s side continued to fight until the 81st minute when Mbappe scored his brace and winner for Real Madrid from the penalty spot again.
