For the second time in two years, Manchester United Legends were beaten on penalties by Celtic Legends, on Saturday 6 September, 2025 at Celtic Park.
Celtic came from two (2) goals down to win the return leg of the charity tie.
The first leg of the Charity tie at Old Trafford ended with Celtic Legends winning on penalties; the English side made the trip to help raise money for Celtic Foundation.
Manchester United kicked off the game beautifully well with Darren Fletcher and Dimitar Berbatov giving Bryan Robson’s side a two-goal lead in the first 45 minutes.
However, the hosts launched a late comeback to force penalties once more and, as it happened last year, came out as winners.
The match was attended by more than 25,000 fans, which was an amazing experience for everyone
