Executive Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has commissioned a 550-seater auditorium at the Lagos State University (LASU), Epe Campus, donated by Mr. Olatunji Bello, Executive Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC).
The Governor said, the auditorium is a place “where ideas will be shared and where our students will be inspired to aim higher.”
The building will serve as a “hub for academic discourse, cultural exchange”, Sanwo-Olu said.
Taking to X, Governor Sanwo-Olu announced: “I commissioned a 550-seater auditorium at the Epe campus of Lagos State University generously donated by the Executive Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC), Mr. Olatunji Bello as part of his commitment to education and service to our State.

“This building is a space where ideas will be shared and where our students will be inspired to aim higher. It will serve as a hub for academic discourse, cultural exchange, and strategic gatherings, enriching the learning environment for our students and inspiring them to aim for excellence.
“I am grateful to Mr. Bello for giving back in such a meaningful way. His generosity aligns with our vision to strengthen education through our THEMES+ Agenda, and it reminds us that we can achieve much more when we work together.

“For our students, this is a gift of opportunity. I believe it will enrich their learning and strengthen LASU’s culture of excellence for years to come.”
