The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has come out with its clarification on the Wanted Person Bulletin circulating which states that Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo, is wanted by the Office of the IGP Monitoring Unit.
The NPF said, the Bulletin is “not an official communication” from the Force, and urged the public to verify information through verified channels and be wary of “misinformation”.
Via an Official Public Notice on X, the NPF wrote: “Clarification on Police Gazette Bulletin of Wanted Person
“The Nigeria Police Force wishes to clarify that the recent Wanted Person Bulletin circulating about stating that the Nollywood Actress, Iyabo Ojo is wanted by the Office of The IGP Monitoring Unit is NOT an official communication from the Force.
“The Nigeria Police Force urges members of the public to verify information through official channels and be cautious of misinformation.”
